Educational Toys: Toys that Parents and Children Love

Give a child a toy and you will get something that money cannot buy- your child's happy face. Most children are not particular about how much their toys cost, but how much pleasure and enjoyment they get from it. How many times have we seen small kids play with the box the toy came in rather than the toy itself? As parents, we can add to the pleasure and enjoyment they derive from their toys. We can give them educational toys and as parents, we can also get the satisfaction that we have given our children something fun and worthwhile.

For very young kids, there are simple educational toys which are also fun and entertaining. The classic shape sorter or simple puzzles have always been popular because they are fun and beneficial to younger kids. The DwellStudio Shape Sorter is an example of this classic toy. This one has charming animal shapes and brilliant colors- enough reasons to keep a child love playing with it. For parents, it is reassuring to know that this is made of engineered and recovered wood and non-toxic dyes. This is also lead free and meets or exceeds U.S. toy testing standards. The most important feature of this toy is that it was designed to develop coordination and spark imagination.

Children three years or older will be entertained for hours in this Anatex Submarine Activity Center. Inside this wooden toy submarine is a complete instrument panel with a working periscope, steering wheel, gear shifts, and speedometers. The entertainment factor extends to the outside of this submarine. There are sea life creatures, boats, and an aquatic maze. All these activities help in promoting eye-hand coordination and visual tracking. This toy is attractive enough to be decorative but the educational benefit is almost endless.

Children love toys but parents appreciate educational toys. These educational toys are not just for fun but they also help a lot in children's development. From the simple shape shorter to the more complex activity children, these are toys that both kids and parents will love.
