Using Kids' Room Accessories to Personalize a Nursery

Sometimes, the little touches are the stuff that gives a room a distinct personality. When it comes to kids, the observant parent would know a child's personality even before the child learns to walk or talk. A kid's room should showcase his personality, rather than the parents' taste. Surrounded by the things that he loves, a child will also feel loved and secure. That is where kids' room accessories are useful. They give a room that personal touch  and they don't cost too much.

Mobiles are very entertaining first toys. Babies stare at them and chortle in delight when they see a mobile moving gently above them. One adorable mobile is the Trend Lab. Dr. Seuss Cat in the Hat. This mobile featuring the classic favorite Dr. Seuss character will encourage eye-tracking and sound perception skills. The red, black, and white combination is the perfect stimulus since these are the first colors that babies recognize. The Brahm's lullaby which the mobile produces is a soothing sound for all babies. What a fun way to inject whimsy and personality in any nursery.

Another practical addition to a kid's room is a hamper. This practical piece is an easy way to lessen clutter. It's no use having accessorizing when the room is a big mess. The Trend Lab Dr. Seuss Cat in the Hat Hamper Set has the matching Cat-in-the Hat print on its body. The frame is made of lightweight but sturdy pine. It comes with a removable mesh liner. You don't have to carry the whole hamper set when removing dirty laundry. It is also fully collapsible for easy storage.

The good thing with room accessories is that they don't cost too much and they don't usually require  complicated assembly. They add just the right zing to any room to showcase a child's personality. When the child grows tired of a favorite character or color, you can easily replace the old accessories without spending too much money or energy.
