Bunk Beds: The Alternative Solution
Let's talk about beds for older kids. Because kids grow so fast, their needs grow quickly along with them. The older they get, the more activities they have. And these activities mean they need equipment and storage space. If it is not possible to transfer the kids to a bigger room, re-thinking their original space may be the only solution. Multi-functioning and space-spacing furniture, like a bunk bed, would go a long way in answering the changing needs of growing children.
Powell Ranch has a loft bed that has a built-in chest for that much needed space. Their capuccino colored bunk bed has a twin-sized loft bed over a twin bed. There are sturdy steps with safety guard rails that will make going up and down the loft bed a breeze. The four drawers at the end is an efficient and roomy storage space to stash clothes, bed linen, or even sports equipment. The dark brown color and classic design of this bed will withstand the test of time and decoration trend.
Another multi-tasking and space-saving bed from Powell Ranch is their Powell Monster Bedroom Twin Study Loft Bunk Bed. This one is ideal if your child doesn't need to share the bedroom but needs space for studying. The study desk underneath the loft bed was designed to hold a computer and the hanging mesh and storage shelf can accommodate schoolbooks and materials. It is that much easier to study if all that you need are within easy reach. This hardworking sleep and study space has powder-coated tubular steel frames and chrome-plated decorative inserts. It also has a low-maintenance black aniline laminated work surface. This is one furniture that will serve your child for many years.
A bigger room is not always possible to answer your child's growing needs. Space-saving bunk beds may be the alternate solution.

Everything depends on what someone prefers and how it will look in a room. Based off of structure though, metal is one of the best, if not the best frame for a girl bunk bed. Its lighter weight without compromising strength has to be the best argument for metal. Security is a serious consideration as well and metal does not split or produces splinters.
