Everything depends on what someone prefers and how it will look in a room. Based off of structure though, metal is one of the best, if not the best frame for a girl bunk bed. Its lighter weight without compromising strength has to be the best argument for metal. Security is a serious consideration as well and metal does not split or produces splinters.
